Jacco Marinusse has more than thirty years of experience in international buying, sourcing and product development. During that time, he worked closely with manufacturers in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. Over the past ten years, his work has focused mainly on India.
Before establishing JLM Sourcing, Jacco worked for a large European wholesaler supplying retailers and DIY chains. His responsibilities included sourcing, buying and product development. That experience still shapes how we work today: a product must offer the right commercial opportunity while meeting European retail requirements for quality, packaging and compliance.
Why JLM Sourcing was founded
JLM Sourcing was founded in 2019 from a desire to work closer to products and manufacturers again. Less time spent on meetings and internal processes, and more attention to product development, quality, negotiation and solving practical challenges.
That personal involvement remains important. Clients have direct contact with JLM, while our team in India maintains daily communication with manufacturers and follows progress locally.
Together, we manage the complete process
Our team supports clients from A to Z. We find the right product and select a suitable manufacturer. We then manage price and contract negotiations, samples, specifications, certifications, compliance, quality control, production, packaging and shipment.
With an office in the Netherlands and a team in New Delhi, we combine European retail experience with a daily presence in India. Clients have one direct point of contact in the Netherlands, while our local team follows progress and quality at the factory.
